An indoor/outdoor marketplace in Bastrop, TX, offering high-quality local farm produce, artisanal products, and a vibrant community space.
Brief
Community Gardens is an expansive marketplace featuring a nursery, garden, full-service restaurant, coffee shop, lively music venue, and a well-stocked bar. They approached me to design a logo for their remarkable venue, but what they received was much more—a visual identity.
Insights
The founders envisioned transforming the venue into an engaging and interactive space for families and the broader community. As a result, the visual identity needed to convey a sense of wholesomeness and promote a feeling of social togetherness.
Solution
We designed a symbol by rotating the letters C and G clockwise and stacking them to form the depiction of a person. This symbol not only serves as a bold logo but can also be repeated to create illustrations that represent the strong sense of community cultivated by Community Gardens.
