Visual Identity design for an indoor/outdoor marketplace that provides quality local farm produce and quality products to the community in Bastrop, TX.
BRIEF
Community Gardens is an expansive marketplace that showcases a nursery, garden, full-service restaurant, coffee shop, and lively music venue, complemented by a well-stocked bar. I was approached by Community Gardens to design a logo for their remarkable venue, but what they received extended beyond a mere logo—it encompassed a comprehensive visual identity.
INSIGHTS
The founders had a vision of transforming the venue into an enjoyable and interactive experience for both families and the community at large.
Consequently, the visual identity needed to embody a sense of wholesomeness and foster a feeling of social togetherness.
SOLUTION
We crafted a symbol by rotating the letters C and G clockwise and arranging them in a stacked formation, resulting in the depiction of a person. This symbol not only created a strong logo but it can also be repeated to create illustrations symbolising the strong sense of community fostered by Community Gardens.
