Twins Cartoon is the pseudonym of Egyptian artists Mohamed & Haitham El-seht. They are cartoonists based in Cairo and the founders of a platform called Kawkab El Rasameen (Planet of Painters). Kawkab el Rasameen has grown into a large community for local artists and they hold gatherings in the streets of Egypt as well as workshops between professional, underground and amateur artists. The twin brothers have also started a magazine for comic book artists called - Garage magazine. On this episode, Haithem and Mohamed talk about their work, their platform and the magazine. They talk about the history of comic books in the Middle-East and the future of independent comic book artists in Egypt.
