Visual Identity design for a prestigious full-service law firm based in New Delhi.
BRIEF
Founded in 1997, Khaitan and Khaitan is a reputable law firm involved in various practice areas, such as dispute resolution, corporate and commercial advisory, project finance and infrastructure, banking and finance, and real estate, among other specialised fields. Their main office is located in New Delhi, and they maintain a nationwide presence through a network of associated law offices. In 2016, the firm made the decision to revamp its visual identity and sought a redesign.
INSIGHTS
In the updated visual identity, the firm aimed to embody its evolved brand personality while honouring its longstanding legacy and prestigious reputation. Certain elements, such as the colour blue, had already gained recognition and were desired to be retained in the new identity.
SOLUTION
As a part of brand identity design, we crafted a logotype with custom-lettered sans-serif 'Khaitan' showing permanence contrasting with an elegant golden ampersand that adds austerity. The robust use of the colour blue evokes a sense of experience, intellect, and trust. Additionally, a condensed monogram was carefully crafted to be subtly employed in the overall design.
